On July 1, The Shanghai-Suzhou-Nantong Yangtze River Bridge, China's first high-speed railway bridge to use 5G leakage cables to achieve signal coverage, was officially opened to traffic.
China Tower-Nantong Branch coordinated the three telecom enterprises to jointly build and share, and adopted the comprehensive coverage solution of "micro-station & leak-cable technology" to realize the the 5G network full coverage of the bridge. Among them, the 5G leaky cable technology used in the main 5.837km span of the railway bridge came from China Tower-Nantong Branch & ZTT Joint Laboratory.

The 5G dedicated leaky cable developed by ZTT has well solved the layout problems of 5G signals in a series of confined spaces such as tunnels and subways. In May of last year, ZTT’s 5/4 new type 5G leaky cable was put into use on Zhengzhou Metro Line 5, helping China’s first subway tunnel to succeed in 5G coverage.
